At the outset, I extend my heart-felt regards and best wishes to USAA members.The existing pandemic (so called Corona / Omicron) has crippled our activities. In spite of hindrances caused by the pandemic we have to go long way to bring about excellence in our activities relating to USAA.

I have great liking towards the subject statistics. Statistics helps to find out the truth from the data and form information. As alumni of statistics, let us try to popularize subject statistics in the state.

My association with the Department of Statistics, Utkal University started fifty six years ago and continues till today when I am completing 78 years of age. For about a decade, the Department did get a good number of students who got good placements in ISS, bank jobs and many more.

USAA's ideas that changed Statistics and continue to change the way we think. The activities of USAA are making us nostalgic. We are almost excited to memoir the remembrances of our early years at Utkal. Thank You for being a part of this association.

Median of all endeavours, Statistics calls for the attention of all its lovers to contribute significantly to its all-round growth in the state under the banner of USAA I am proud of being a member of USAA.

I have my liking for Statistics and the Statisticians. I respect my seniors and have nothing but a little bit of love for the young Alumni.Let us join hands, grow together and help others.

I owe to the department and also indebted to this subject. I'm one of the students to read this subject in my entire student career for seven years (from Intermediate to MPhil in Stat). I have been immensely benefited because of this great subject. Now applying it in my teaching and research, since last 35 years. Believe me, this subject has unfathomably very high potential. My love and respect for this subject.

Statistics is an interesting subject having wide applicability. Hope we members of the USAA popularise it among masses.

USAA is a forward step towards enrichment of statistics among the students and planners of the state. It will definitely help to focus on application of the subject in a more constructive and comprehensive manner in the programmes on R & D in different areas of applied sciences and social issues in our state.

USAA is the congregation of persons of similar thoughts. we will take the USAA to very big height. Man may come man may go but USAA goes forever.

I truly believe that the main and important objective of this Association is to make our alumni brothers, sisters, colleagues and friends closer. So that they can think and realize what is to be done so that we can grow in the field of statistics.
